House Rules & Terms
Our goal is for our guests to enjoy a relaxing and safe stay at Villa Yasmin. For this reason, we have established a short list of rules and regulations that all guests are required to follow. By confirming a reservation at Villa Yasmin, you accept the following terms and conditions:
Booking & Cancellation Policy
To confirm a reservation, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your selected dates and is not refundable under any circumstances (as it serves as a reservation / commitment fee).
The remaining 50% balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: Any remaining balance that has already been paid will be fully refunded. However, the 50% deposit is retained and is not refundable. No additional charges apply.
- Cancellation 30 days or less before arrival (including no-show or early departure): The full booking amount (100%) is non-refundable. The deposit is retained and any remaining unpaid balance will still be charged.
Number of Guests
All reservations and financial agreements are made for a specific number of guests, which must be declared and confirmed during the booking process. A maximum of four (4) guests is allowed unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Arrival Information
We require your arrival details at least 24 hours prior to your check-in date. During your journey, please inform us in case of flight or ferry delays or cancellations so that we can notify the villa representative and, if applicable, the car rental company.
Welcome & Assistance
Unless otherwise agreed, the property manager will meet you at Villa Yasmin and escort you to the villa. Airport or port transfers and car rental services can be arranged upon request at an additional charge. Contact details for the villa manager will be provided for assistance or local advice.
Identification
At check-in, at least one guest is required to present a valid passport or ID and settle any outstanding balance. Identification documents will be copied and returned immediately.
Check-in & Check-out
Arrival and Departure: Check-in is at 16:00 (4:00 PM) and check-out is at 11:00 (11:00 AM). A villa inspection will take place before departure at 10:30 AM.
Use of the Property
Guests must comply with Greek laws during their stay. The possession of illegal, flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited. The villa is for residential use only and may not be used for unlawful or offensive activities. Subletting the villa is not permitted.
Smoking Policy
Villa Yasmin is a non-smoking property. Smoking is permitted only in outdoor areas such as balconies, terraces, or the garden. Any evidence of smoking inside the villa will result in charges for cleaning or repairs. Guests who arrive and detect smoke odors may cancel their stay, resulting in significant loss to the property.
Personal Belongings & Security
Guests are responsible for securing the villa during their stay and must keep doors and windows locked when leaving the premises. The owners are not responsible for loss of personal belongings. A safety deposit box is available for guest use.
Damages, Losses & Injuries
Any damage or loss must be reported immediately. Guests will be charged for damaged or missing items. Guests use all facilities at their own risk. The owners are not liable for accidents, injuries, or illness during the stay.
Children Supervision
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the property.
Swimming Pool Rules
The pool is used at guests’ own risk. Children must be supervised at all times. Please shower before entering the pool. Indoor furniture must not be used in the pool area, and swimming with sunscreen residue on the body is prohibited. Pets are not allowed in the pool. Pool cleaning takes place every two days.
Vandalism
Any damage to the property, garden, furniture, or equipment will be assessed by the property manager and charged to the responsible guest.
Fire & Candles
Open fires and candles are strictly prohibited indoors and outdoors due to fire risk, especially during the summer months.
House Keys
Lost or damaged keys will be charged for replacement.
Maintenance & Complaints
All systems and appliances are maintained in good working order. Any maintenance issue must be reported immediately. No refunds or price adjustments are granted due to maintenance issues.
Staff Access
Staff and cleaning personnel reserve the right to enter the property to perform their duties. Visits will be scheduled respectfully whenever possible.
Special Circumstances
In emergency situations (e.g. fire, flooding), the owner may enter the villa without prior notice. Guests will be informed afterward.
Extended Absence
If guests plan to be away from the villa for more than 24 consecutive hours, they must notify the property manager for security reasons.
Cleaning Service
Villa Yasmin is thoroughly cleaned before arrival. Cleaning service includes kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Towels and linens are changed every three (3) days. Personal services such as cooking or babysitting are not included.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours in Greece during summer are 15:00–17:30 and 23:00–07:00. During October, quiet hours are 15:00–17:30 and 22:00–07:30. Guests must avoid excessive noise at all times.
Payment & Cancellation – Non-Refundable Rates
Non-refundable rates are charged in full at the time of booking. No refunds are provided for cancellations, modifications, no-shows, or early departures.
Payment & Cancellation – Refundable Rates
- Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival: no charge
- Cancellations 29 days or less before arrival: 50% charge
- No-show or early departure: 100% charge
Children Policy
- Free baby cot available for children up to 2 years old
- Children up to 2 years stay free using existing beds
- Children over 2 years are charged as adults
Pets
Pets are not allowed at Villa Yasmin under any circumstances.
We kindly ask guests to respect our rules and act in an environmentally friendly manner. Before departure, please ensure that all lights, electrical appliances, and air conditioning units are switched off.
